Happy 2018!!!

One year ends and another begins… I don’t think I’ll be making New Year’s Resolutions for the coming year; I would rather give thanks for the many wonderful things I have received and experienced throughout the year that ends today.

I am grateful, in the first place, for the love, support and encouragement of the people who are part of my life, especially for the love of my grandson who is the light of my life. I am grateful for being in possession of the faculties that allow me to do the things I like to do and make me happy.  I am grateful for having been able to resume activities that had been neglected for some time and for reconnecting with people that I had not seen for quite a while.  I am grateful that I have been able to carry out projects that have been very important to me and that will, in turn, allow me to create new projects in the future. I am grateful that I still feel enthusiastic about life and that I am still eager to learn new things. I am grateful that I am happy to be alive!!!

Maybe I will make a New Year’s Resolution after all… In this world that seem to be more chaotic each day (or at least it seems to be that way, although some historians refute this and could be the subject for another post) I will make a greater effort to create a more loving, kind, joyful and understanding environment for those around me, thereby counteracting what I may not like about the rest of the world.
